Gen2 Energy is continuing the recruitment of key personnel. We are pleased to announce the hiring of four highly experienced and qualified employees. The competence base of Gen2 Energy is strengthened significantly, and the company is by this well positioned to succeed in the hydrogen market.
Lars Nesje Grimsmo is hired as Executive Vice President for Project Development. Mr. Grimsmo has been project manager for major EPC projects in Energy, Oil and Gas and Maritime. 18 years of experience in gas and gas safety, including construction of gas fired power plants, offshore gas production systems and gas processing. MSc. in Electrical and Process Energy Engineering from the Norwegian University of Technology and Science, with specialization in hydrogen production for energy storage.
Magne Ø. Prestholdt is joining Gen2 Energy as Senior Project Manager. Mr. Prestholdt has 20 years of experience from engineering and projects, within oil and gas and carbon capture and storage. He has worked on numerous offshore oil and gas projects and most recently as technical lead for Longship CCS project for the Norwegian State. Mr. Prestholdt holds a B.Sc. in Energy and Process Engineering from Høgskolen i Telemark and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
Victoria Ortiz is hired as Hydrogen Sales Manager. Mrs. Ortiz has over 15 years experience in the energy sector which includes leading the business development and sales at Wartsila Gas Solution. She has a solid background in process engineering for the oil and gas industry. Mrs Ortiz holds a MSc in oil refining and gas processing from the IFP school, executive management training from INSEAD & Scandinavian Executive Institute and Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar.
Thor Stensvaag will fill the position as Technology Manager. Mr. Stensvaag has over 30 years of Energy Sector experience with both operating companies and engineering companies working in Europe, Americas, The Middle East and Africa. He has had high level roles in projects, ranging from process modifications to billion-dollar investments, both onshore and offshore. Mr. Stensvaag holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU.
