Petter Sørensen is now employed as Gen2 Energy’s first local representative in Mosjøen. He will ensure the best possible follow-up of cases that are directly related to the company’s operations in Mosjøen and especially business development and the logistics part.
For Gen2 Energy, it is important to be close to what is happening in Vefsn municipality regarding the company’s commitment to build and establish a large-scale facility for hydrogen. Petter Sørensen will have an important function in this.
Petter Sørensen will have a focus on the logistics part of Gen2 Energy’s hydrogen facility, which includes container handling and transport logistics. These are key parts of the complete and integrated value chain for hydrogen that Gen2 Energy are building up.

I have experienced a lot of positive feedback to the professionalism Gen2 Energy shows in what they do, and will work actively to strengthen it further, says Petter Sørensen, newly hired Business Development & Logistics Manager in Gen2 Energy.
Petter Sørensen comes from the position as Casthouse Manager chief at Alcoa Mosjøen and has a background as head of logistics in HV-14 in the Armed Forces.
– For Gen2 Energy, local presence and anchoring is important and having employees on the team who know the Vefsn community and are close to the pulse of what is happening is crucial for us. Petter Sørensen will have an office in MON’s premises in the city center, which will strengthen the good collaboration that Gen2 Energy has with both the municipality and MON as a business company.
