Cooperation agreement with Truck og Maskin in Mosjøen.

Gen2 Energy has the ambition to join forces with local industry as part of building a hydrogen hub in Nordland.  A cooperation agreement with Truck og Maskin was signed this week.

Gen2 Energy had a delegation of six people in Mosjøen earlier this month conducting a series of nearly 25 meetings.  Part of the objective with the trip was to establish good working-relations with local business with the objective to enable a local hydrogen market.  Gen2 Energy will start hydrogen production in Mosjøen in 2024 and having established a local hydrogen business by then will be an opportunity, both for Gen2 Energy as well as the local industry.

Truck og Maskin is a provider of heavy-duty vehicles for the industry in the region and sees the possibility to provide zero emission solutions to its customers as a business opportunity.  The two parties have agreed to work together towards vendors and authorities to enable a local hydrogen supply chain.  “We have received a very warm welcome from the local industry in Mosjøen and the collaboration with Truck og Maskin can be seen as the very beginning of creating a national Hydrogen Hub in Mosjøen.

– We are very much looking forward to continue working with the industry in the region, says Andreas Ekker, SVP Sales in Gen2 Energy.

-We are very enthusiastic about the possibility Gen2 Energy is bringing to the region and we look forward to bringing zero emission solutions to our customers, says Hallvard Batstrand, Managing Director of Truck og Maskin.
