Mr. Kjetil Bøhn
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Bøhn is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience from starting, scaling up and financing of companies since 2000. He has served either as a CEO, part of the executive management team, as Chairman of the Board of Directors or as a board member of several companies, among the Quantafuel and Agrions. Since leaving his last CEO position in Quantafuel Mr. Bøhn has started or been instrumental in revitalizing four companies, including Havur AS and Gen2Energy AS. He holds a bachelor’s of Commerce/Business studies from the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen.
Mr. Bjørn Thoresen
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Thoresen has 17 years of experience from capital markets and investment banking, with particular focus on the energy segment. He has worked on numerous equity and debt capital markets transactions and led several IPO processes within renewable energy. Mr. Thoresen holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Mr. Lars Nesje Grimsmo
EVP Project Development
Mr. Grimsmo has been project manager for major EPC projects in Energy, Oil and Gas and Maritime. 18 years of experience in gas and gas safety, including construction of gas fired power plants, offshore gas production systems and gas processing. MSc. in Electrical and Process Energy Engineering from the Norwegian University of Technology and Science, with specialization in hydrogen production for energy storage.
Mr. Roar Millehaugen
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Millehaugen has 30 years’ experience from project development, OPC, Q&M and project finance. He has conducted development evaluations for companies as Vitol SA and VTTI BV. He has had managing roles in Wartsila, Norsk Vindkraft and Jacobsen Elektro and as such has broad experience from the energy sector. He has a Maritime Technical Engineer degree from University Advance Maritime Technical School.
Mr. Andreas Ekker
SVP Global Sales
Mr. Ekker has leadership experience from energy companies, within oil refining, B2B sales and pricing, logistics and project execution. He holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and an Executive Master of Management from Norwegian Business School.
Mr. Jan Fredrik Råknes
Head of Business Development
Mr. Råknes has experience as a founder of several IT companies, and he is one of the founders of Gen2 Energy. Mr. Råknes holds a Bachelor’s in Finance and Marketing from the Norwegian Business School BI.
Mrs. Lena Halvari
President
Mrs. Halvari, formerly Director of Wind Assisted Propulsion at Yara Marine Technologies, brings over 20 years of experience in strategic execution, stakeholder management, and project realization. As a board member and now part of the leadership team at Gen2 Energy, she will work alongside the CEO and management to drive the company forward with her strong commitment to team development and delivering results.
Mr. Terje Simonsen
Head of Human Resources and Corporate Culture
Mr. Simonsen is a co-founder of Gen2 Energy and oversees administration, HR, and corporate culture. With an M.Sc. in Innovation and Management and broad leadership experience, he is dedicated to building a strong, future-oriented organization that supports Gen2 Energy’s vision of a sustainable value chain for green hydrogen.
Mr. Svein-Erik Figved
Head of Public Affairs, Communication and RDI
Mr. Figved is one of the founders of Gen2 Energy. He has a broad background in business, public authorities, academia, and environmental organizations and masters the communication and interaction between these sectors. Mr. Figved holds a Master of Management degree from the Norwegian Business School BI.
Mr. Kristian Sjøvold
Head of Digital & IT
Mr. Sjøvold is one of the founders of Gen2 Energy. He is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in IT-sector start-ups/scale-ups.
Mr. Henning Henriksen
Head of Health, Safety, Security, Environment
Mr. Henriksen has broad experience in the industrial gas industry as well as risk and safety management consultancy from companies like AGA, Linde Gas, Scandpower, and Lloyds Register. He holds M.Sc.-degrees in Mechanical Engineering and IT from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland.
Mr. Heine Rønningen
SVP Power Trading
Mr. Rønningen started in the energy market business in 1994. Experience from trading, hedging, risk management, regulatory work, and exchanges. Mr. Rønningen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School.
Mr. Paal A. Utvik
Vice President, Hydrogen Sales & Supply Chain
Mr. Utvik extensive international experience within shipping and energy companies includes oil exploration R&D for PGS, ship building supervision for Leiv Höegh & Co and business development for Grieg. In 2008 he obtained a MBA degree from Fudan University in Shanghai.
Ms. Anne Mjaugeto
Senior administration coordinator
Ms. Mjaugeto has more than 20 years experience in management and administration from several different companies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in pedagogics, and additional education in co-creating, social innovation and management.
Mr. Øystein Gulliksen
Head of Procurement
Mr. Gulliksen has more than 25 years of experience working commercially in numerous industries including telecom, industrial, retail and software. He has worked with sales, procurement and supply chain, and has extensive leadership experience. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Accounting from the University of South Carolina in the United States.
Mr. Petter Sørensen
Supply Chain Manager
Mr. Sørensen has long experience within leadership and logistics management, having served over 12 years within the Norwegian Armed Forces and formerly over 3 years’ experience as Casthouse Manager for Alcoa Mosjøen working within the aluminium industry.
Mr. Sørensen holds a Bachelor in Leadership, Logistics and Resource Management from the Royal Norwegian Air Force- and Naval Academy.
Ms. Aleksandra Mathisen
Finance and Strategy Analyst, Renewable Energy
Ms. Mathisen has a bachelor’s degree in Economy and Administration from BI Norwegian Business School and a Master’s degree in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School. She has also attended Paris School of Business as an exchange student.
Mr. Magne Ø. Prestholdt
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Prestholdt has 20 years of experience from engineering and projects, within oil and gas and carbon capture and storage. He has worked on numerous offshore oil and gas projects and most recently as technical lead for Longship CCS project for the Norwegian State. Mr. Prestholdt holds a B.Sc. in Energy and Process Engineering from Høgskolen i Telemark and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
Mr. Thor Stensvaag
Technology Manager
Mr. Stensvaag has over 30 years of Energy Sector experience with both operating companies and engineering companies working in Europe, Americas, The Middle East and Africa. He has had high level roles in projects, ranging from process modifications to billion-dollar investments, both onshore and offshore. Mr. Stensvaag holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU.
Ms. Anna Fossaas
Senior Accountant Manager
Ms. Fossaas is a Certified Public Accountant by the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority and has been running her own accountant business for more than 20 years.
She has attained a master’s degree in Innovation and Leadership from the University of South-Eastern Norway.
Mrs. Birgitte Jourdan-Andersen
EVP Legal and Compliance
Mrs. Jourdan-Andersen, a qualified lawyer with over 24 years of experience, has dedicated her career to energy and climate policies within the Norwegian and European Internal Market. She has worked extensively with regulatory frameworks, policy development, and compliance, holding key roles at the EFTA Secretariat, the European Commission, and Energy Norway. In addition to her deep expertise in renewable energy law, ESG, and sustainable technologies, Birgitte has advised several companies in the green transition, helping start-ups navigate complex regulatory frameworks and roll out their value chains. As the new EVP Legal and Compliance at Gen2 Energy, she will leverage this extensive experience to support the company’s growth and regulatory strategy.
Mr. Alexandre Amielh
Finance Manager
Mr. Amielh has over 12 years of experience in the public transportation industry sector across Europe, where he has worked on both finance and business development.
Mr. Amielh holds an M.Sc. degree in Business Administration from ESDES Business School.
